“The vision of the men of the New Testament Church of God is to honor God by loving our families, serving each other, our church, and our communities.”
MISSION STATEMENT
“The mission of the Men’s Ministry of The New Testament Church of God is to create an atmosphere where men can develop Godly characteristics through loving their families, serving each other, and our church in order to impact the world for Jesus Christ.”
PURPOSE STATEMENT
“Our purpose is a direct result of God’s mandate given to us in His word that when we love God, we will be able to live transformed, purpose-driven lives.”
The Goal of the Life Builders Men’s Ministry is to be:
· A ministry that will bring men into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
· A ministry to unite men in Bible study, prayer, ministry, fellowship, and accountability. Provide spiritual growth and development – make sure every man knows his identity and purpose and to carry them out based on obedience to the word of God.
· A ministry that operates in a supportive environment that touches the lives of the entire church family.
· A ministry to promote mentoring opportunities that lead to significant vital relationships.
· A ministry to become a magnet for service and a resource for other church ministries.
· A ministry that provides plans, implements strategies, collaborates with other ministries within the church, and communicates consistently.
· A ministry to provide events that will promote fellowship, outreach, and evangelism.
· A ministry to create leadership resource for the church by winning men to trust in Jesus Christ alone.
· A ministry to strengthen the mission of the church by multiplying men as leaders.
Foundational Verse
‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ – Mat. 22:37-39
Serving others is the hallmark, trademark, characteristic of true Christianity. The Bible details Christ’s dedicated service to others and encourages His followers to do the same. The Bible also shows that by helping other people, serves God and yields blessings. By helping God’s children, we show our love for Him. By serving our families, neighbors, and enemies, our love for them grows and by carrying out both mandates, we win souls for Christ.
